March 17th “Sauces”

What is the mother of all sauces? As you may already know, there are actually five so-called
mother sauces in classic french cuisine. These are Velouté, Béchamel, Hollandaise, Espagnole
and Tomato. They are considered the building blocks for all of the other french sauces, or
secondary sauces. At this month’s wine pairing event on Tuesday March 17th, you will see
them featured!
Every third Tuesday of the month at FLG Terroir we offer a three course dinner with wine
pairings for $45, and seats are limited. Chef Kristen Barnett will prepare three unique and
