“The small mountain town of Flagstaff is known for its high-elevation, international training program for Olympic-level athletes, its outdoor photography and its Native American art. Now, in its historic downtown, a new second-floor wine shop and bar, FLG Terroir, offers a conversation-friendly retreat for the wine lover. General manager Fred Wojtkielewicz completely renovated the space of the previous occupant, local favorite The Wine Loft, adding an open kitchen and a selection of wines that shows a special interest in Rhône, Piedmont and California, as well as a few choice selections from Arizona. Take a bottle to go or pick one to drink with the carnitas tamales or cheese plate: Corkage is just $5.”
